ARTIST STATEMENT

"From my studio I watch the continually changing light on Puget Sound. The play of light and shadow is a very important element in my work. I try to capture glowing colors to give dramatic impact to my paintings. The actual process of drawing and painting is very exciting and each painting is an amazing adventure.
